Grossmont High School Museum

Lets walk through these doors
once again and remember those
years that created who we are
today.  The fun we had & the
friendships we made.  The world
as it was then, and how we grew
into who we are today.

Join us in celebrating the new
Grossmont Museum where you
travel back and see the things
that made those years special.

Celebrate the history of what is
and always will be the best....

history of San Diego County's
first & best high school.

On October 17th the Grand Opening of the new museum was held
on the lower quad.  The museum is Located on the North side of
the Math Building.  Over 250 alumni attended and marveled at what
were once "unknown treasures" and now through hard work and
dedication, are now proudly displayed by each class generation
from the first class of 1921 up to the present day.

The Grand Opening and museum ribbon cutting were the highlight of
the afternoon as a graduate from the class of 1936, Mr. Ellsworth
Riker, and the youngest student at Grossmont, Miss Athena Scott,
from the Class of 2012 formally opened the museum.

Enjoy these few photos (thumbnails) of the museum & displays
that show just where we have been, and  where the future
may take the students of Grossmont High School.
